Lootbound Is Out Now on Steam and Xbox
After two years of development, public playtests, demos, events, and countless rounds of player feedback, Lootbound is finally available on Steam and Xbox.
Lootbound is a dark fantasy tactical roguelite built around turn-based battles, party building, inventory management, and the constant temptation to risk everything for one more reward.
Every expedition begins with a single hero. As you choose your route through the world, you can recruit companions, collect equipment, and gradually build a party capable of surviving what lies ahead.
Loot does more than increase your stats. Items can be rotated and placed freely inside each character’s inventory, while their auras interact with nearby equipment. Moving a single item can reshape an entire build.
Your decisions also determine the final challenge. At the end of each biome, you choose a new body part for the Guardian. Every choice changes its appearance and abilities, until you eventually have to face the boss you created yourself.
From the First Build to Release
Development of Lootbound began in February 2025. Since then, the game has gone through several public testing stages, including limited playtests, an open demo, Steam Next Fest, and live events.
Feedback from players helped us improve companion AI, combat readability, inventory access, tooltips, progression, the pacing of the final biome, boss presentation, and many other parts of the experience.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who played the early builds, reported bugs, shared feedback, created content, met us at events, or simply added the game to their wishlist. Your support helped Lootbound reach this day.
Release is an important milestone, but it is not the end of the journey. We will be closely following your feedback and continuing to expand the game.
